Join University of Delaware Coaches and get a snapshot of collegiate field hockey in a competitive and challenging environment that utilizes small-group settings to provide efficient coach-athlete interactions. SEASONAL PLAYING OPPORTUNITIES
For our life-long hockey enthusiasts, Empower’s goal is to offer an opportunity to keep a stick in the hands of adults and youth alike who want to continue to play, those who have the “hockey bug!”
Empower’s Summer Series is open to any player, regardless of affiliation – high school, middle school, or elementary school. Pick-up games are played once a week at the University of Delaware’s Rullo Stadium. Sign ups for Summer 2024 will be announced in the spring.
In 2022, many adults came out and played and enjoyed camaraderie and exercise. We want to support this enthusiasm by continuing to offer the opportunity to play. In the summer of 2023, Empower Academy partnered with Delaware Field Hockey to offer a co-ed summer league.
EMPOWER HOSTED TOURNAMENTS & PLAY DAYS
Throughout the year, Empower Field Hockey Academy hosts several tournaments and playdays at the University of Delaware’s Rullo Stadium on water-based turf. These events are typically open to current Empower players and other clubs, schools, and recreational teams. Empower has also hosted USA Field Hockey Region 7’s Regional Club Championships (RCCs).
