Other/Bio:

My name is Abby Fraundorfer and I am a member of the Class of 2026 at Oxford Area High School in Pennsylvania. I’ve been playing field hockey for the past eight years and I have enjoyed every minute of it. I hope to continue playing Field Hockey in college and to better myself in the sport I love.

I was a varsity starter for my freshman and sophomore year for my high school team. I am also a member of the Empower Field Hockey Academy which practices at the University of Delaware. I have participated in NITs, RCCs, Shooting Star Jamboree, and other various tournaments with the club.

Outside of Field Hockey, I run distance in Track and Field. This helps me stay in shape for the Field Hockey season. Outside of Field Hockey, I also do well in school.  I am in all honors classes and I have maintained an A and B average. Along with this I participate in a few clubs with my high school. This includes Interact Club, which is a club that does three service projects throughout the year to help the school, the community, and the world. I am also in Helping Hands, which is another service club that does projects for the school and community. Lastly, I’ve been been inducted into the National English Honor Society, which requires an A average in an honors English class to be considered for it.

Overall I love playing field hockey, but I also love the team aspect of it. It has taught me teamwork, time management, patience, hard work, and so much more.
