Ample hotels, restaurants, and shopping are located close to the UD RCC venue. 

Three hotels are located directly across the street from Rullo Stadium and the University’s Athletics Complex:

• Baymont by Wyndham Newark I-95 at the University of Delaware
• Homewood Suites by Hilton Newark-Wilmington South Area

Main Street in Newark (~2 miles from Rullo Stadium) has a wide selection of quick-service and full-service restaurants. Several fast-food and convenience options are located within a mile of the venue, including but not limited to Wawa, Jersey Mike’s Subs, McDonald’s, Dunkin’, Malin’s Market, and the University’s own ice cream shop, the UDairy Creamery. The Christiana Mall and adjacent Christiana Fashion Center are approximately 8 miles from the tournament location.

• Empower will have CUSTOM REGION 7 shirts for sale at the event. The pre-order is now closed; if you pre-ordered, please pick up your shirt(s) between 10am-2pm at the concession area.

• Concession Stand – Bottled water, bottled sports drinks, protein bars, chips, crackers and candy.
• Shake It Fast – A mobile protein and smoothie bar (Sun., June 2 from 12-4 p.m.)
• Woody’s On Wheels – Food truck serving sandwiches, wraps, wings and snacks (Sat., May 18 from 12-4/5 p.m.)
• Taco Reho – Food truck serving, you guessed it…tacos! (Saturday, June 1 from 12-4/5 p.m.)
• Grain Exchange – On Fridays and Saturdays, hop across the street to this sit down restaurant for a full meal. Be sure to ask for “Pete” – the dad of one of our Empower athletes!
